Latest updates on Blossom LMS

Since our last post we've improved Blossom LMS in many fields, the main changes are:

New modules & features:
  • Assignment continuation from where it previously stopped.
  • Master assignments - User must perform all assignments associated to the master assignment in order to complete it.
  • Calendar view for courses registration.
  • Courses templates.
  • Registration to course templates.
  • Courses allocations for organizational units.
  • Waiting lists for courses registration requests.
  • Courses classifications.
  • Questions changes history.
  • Lateral questions grading.
  • Normal distribution graph for assignments scores.

Blossom Editor Release notes

The latest version of our content creation tool, the Blossom Editor, includes the following updates and upgrades:

Main changes include:

  • Multiple actions per object!
  • Editing improvements
    • It's now easier to handle overlapped objects.
    • Automatic magnet tool.
    • Small GUI improvements.
  • Grading - It's now possible to define questions that will not be taken into the grading calculation.
  • Better HTML5 support (including IE9 support).
  • Support for RTL languages in custom built questions.
  • PPT import - It's now possible to import only part of the slideshow.
  • Printing - it's now possible to add description text for each slide that will be shown in the printed pages.
  • Set Objects visibility action - On 'toggle visibility' - It's now possible to determine the initial state of the toggled objects.
  • Capturing - It's possible to define an area on the screen to be captured during recording.
